Choose what works for you!
- A minimum distance covering every week to grade yourself.
2. Reward yourself for an everyday streak. E.g.: 15-day streak.
3. Set up your workout clothes for the next day the previous night itself.
4. A little friendly challenge — same target, same time frame. Progress feels easier with company.
5. Accountability partner who has similar goals to yours. Have an eye on each other’s progress.
6. Switch to different timings once in a while. E.g.: A new running route, an evening run, etc, pep us up.
7. With the right outfit, right gear, right equipment — rock on the tougher days.
8. Set up mini goals which lead to a major goal. You’ll enjoy the process.
9. Register for a sports club to make friends with similar habits.
10. Switch to a different sport, & then return to your core hobby. You’ll fall in love with it again.
11. Make a collage of all your images performing your fave sport on the wall. This really helps on one of those low days.
12. Buy a pretty dress & hang it such that you gaze at it every day. Getting fit to wear the dress along the journey is a win-win.
13. A table of a checklist, manually, where you update your progress every day right in front of yourself.
14. Play games related to running or your core sport/hobby, play videos of the same to educate yourself; these lead to ingrained habits subconsciously.
15. On those days when you skipped the day, ensure you walk 10k-15k steps to compensate by listening to a podcast before you go to bed.

I’ve learned that regular exercise makes me feel alive, happy, and full of energy — and that feeling is now my biggest motivation.
