- Living intensionally implies living with your values & your belief system. We are the happiest when we are living in alignment with the things that we believe in.
Start your day right
- My morning routine is most valuable & precious. Never sacrifice it for anybody. It’s a promise to myself to watch every single sunrise until I depart. I start with my affirmations & then off to my workouts in my lovely neighbourhood until the sun shines bright. Sometimes it a gratitude walk in the lakes or a park nearby. This is my way of beginning my mornings. It sets the mood & tone for the rest of the day. I work on myself before I start working for others. It is a win-win tackling the toughest things of my day.
Intensional eating
I stick to the lines taught from my school days Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food. I however love multi-tasking in the kitchen. Its podcasts or music — with both breakfast & lunch at once as I’m a working woman & have the privilege of cooking once in a day—my meal prep on weekends saves tons of my time here.
Declutter
- I enjoy my colour-coded wardrobe. I love doing laundry & deep cleaning. I’m a neat freak & have the OCD of keeping the house squeaky clean. Yes, including those mirrors 🙂
- Sometimes I do indulge in skincare as I work remotely. Not that girlish. But they call it “self-love” so Bath & body works is my go-to brand for self-pampering 🙂
Mindful consumption
- My work day starts with reading my favourite personal newsletters, Twitter here & there, and then time for work emails. The calls, the focussed work mid-day, & then the wrap-up as I end up super hungry for dinner indirectly helps me observe intermittent fasting.
- Post-work hours are my gala time. I love my fairy lights marking the end of the workday subconsciously that I zone out. It is either reading, writing, Pinterest, or here I’m on medium. This is my therapy.
Appreciate the good
- “Stop & smell the roses” implies pause & live in the moment. I love indulging in my gratitude journaling on my Trello. I prefer keeping it private & of course, I’m tech savvy, hence no notebooks except for my goals written in my handwriting. I live & breathe agile & often retrospect my path. Helps me keep up with my KPIs & the north-star metric of life. I’m soon off to sleep as my day starts quite early.
Dedicated Time zone
- I love spending my evenings on my swing, sipping my green tea or the “miracle tea” (cumin, coriander and fennel boiled in steaming hot water). This sets my mood for the evening.

Make time for fun
- Weekends its usually long runs coupled with my favourite breakfast — Masala dosa with my run buddies, a little time to socialise, plan the next events, etc. I am an extrovert, yet I tend to be socially selective. It’s very few people on my contacts lists & keep it that way. It’s always phone faced down or in DND when I’m with people I love and adore the most.
- I love runcations & make it a point to engage myself in one or two every quarter as this gives me immense joy & recharges me. I love jotting down my thoughts — be it here, on my note, or on Twitter. I enjoy reading. These are the fun times I wait for.
