Designing products for the long run — on screens and on trails

Continued

I was smitten by this mysterious guy in bottle-green shirt. A tall bloke, with an athletic body, who had a low mushy feel in his voice had swept me off my feet.

I was head over heels in love ever since he popped that question. I felt my knees go weak and my cheeks turn pink. It was a different feeling altogether staring at him while sipping my coffee from such a close proximity compared to our previous conversations which mainly were about priority tasks of the day or a gesture of raising eye brows to convey a — Hi every morning.

On our way back, I felt thirsty and he lend me his sipper from his gym bag. He had two bottles — one was with protein shake and the other had water. He seemed to be very organised and a hygienist by his actions just like me. I have an OCD of keeping things organised, am sure he would have realised it while working with me. I had forgotten to return his sipper which I found in my bag. I was happy that I had an excuse to speak to him the next day in the morning. I could not fall asleep that night as I had random thoughts running on my mind.

We shared the same interests in many things such as fitness, adventure, watching Hollywood movies, and exploring places. He had the same passion and dedication in his eyes when he worked on his tasks which I assigned on various projects. His favourite pass time was watching fictional movies and he followed the current affairs actively. His presence was always felt while he conveyed his opinions on the various topics we discussed at the dining table or over a game of foosball or TT.

That’s a lot about him. Sigh! I am not obsessed though. I mean, I had come across many charming and talented guys in my past as well as in my dance classes but this guy seemed from a different world. He was a great guy with a remarkable sense of humour, and had a unique taste in food and sports. He always made a style statement every time he walked past the hall. Yet so down to earth and chivalrous. Indeed, he was the apple of my eye!

I felt a smile creep onto my face as a delicate scent of coffee wafted into my room and I opened my eyes to a bright sunny day. Elvis had left the building. Nevertheless, this has been my cutest puppy love so far.

I had a smile which lasted the longest this morning. I came to my senses as one of my projects has a production release today.

My friends’ complained that I should stop watching F.R.I.E.N.D.S. on a marathon. But I still wish to meet my lobster someday. (wink)

P.S. Good friends do not spill the beans.
