  • Improve the time spent on Instagram, thereby improving engagement
  • Improve creation of user generated content on Instagram thereby increasing engagement
  • Form communities of users with similar taste
  • Create monetization opportunities via IG stories via Influences

PRIMARY & SECONDARY USERS

  • CREATORS — Influencers, Celebrities who endorse
  • VIEWERS — Regular IG users

PAIN POINTS

  • Nullify any meme creations or trolls either for the creators/viewers
  • Ensure there’s no cyber bullying. Eg: Fairness products, edited pictures etc.

USER JOURNEY

  • Create Story, Customise with controls for interaction, Publish Story, Story being viewed by followers
  • Leads to user reactions from followers, leads to share among their followers, chats leading to product enquiries
  • Involved in one or more type of engagement (poll, tapped the url/@mention, swipe up) action to buy the product leading to a sale
  • Track conversions — ecommerce

2. Evaluate the success metrics

This could lead to many interesting METRICS:

  • # of stories shared
  • # of users responses
  • # of users creating their first IG story
  • # of new, organic followers when shared by
  • # of users who finished watching the stories
  • Frequency of posting user stories
  • Increase in DAU/WAU/MAU
  • Passive users of stories
  • Drop in users of who view a particular story type
  • # of stories skipped
  • # of users who engaged with at least one type of interaction (Poll, URL, Mentions, Swiped up etc)
  • Stickiness (DAU/MAU)
  • Time spent in IG stories
  • Total revenue made by ads shown to users

3. Improvise IG stories for v2

  • Creating Fan pages with continuous user interactions like — Fan meter, Know your Fanbase, Know the celebrity traits, IG live sessions etc.
  • AMA sessions builds a strong user base and also helps the creators to know their audience and the target markets for more endorsements. Regular polls keep the audience in curiosity of the poll results.
  • Some users may be interested in buying apparels endorsed by celebs. Details helps affiliate marketing.
  • Virtual Gifts/Coupons with chosen followers via a lucky draw feature will be amazing with equal justice to the followers.
  • The winners chosen from lucky draw will be considered for Live games. Playing online games like Ludo, Word games, Tic-tac-toe, hangman helps in keeping the users happy.
  • Interacting filters based on inspiring movie characters will take it to the next level user interaction.
  • Leveraging into re-selling of product is another interesting segment to be watched for.
