Designing products for the long run — on screens and on trails

‌The best childhood memories has always involved rain and power cuts as I could take always take break whether I would be either playing or studying or just roaming in and around the house.

‌I would rush to the balcony to glimpse of the rain. In my room, I loved watching those tiny rain droplets merging with another droplet to slide and escape the window pane.

‌Raining days were productive when all the lessons learnt in the craft classes would turn into reality ☺

‌I loved making paper boats with neighbouring kids and let them afloat near the entrance of the house. Whose ever boat survives to reach certain spot without being collapsed and wet used to be the winner.

I loved playing the board games like Chess, Ludo or Snake and ladder.

I had a magnetic board and hence I was very obsessed with the pawns because I never wanted to lose a single one of them.

‌Some of the cherishing memories were eating home made yummy pakodas swinging in the hall, watching the wax melting from the coloured candles, observing the lightening and loud thunders, smell of the mud, the cool breeze, playing Anthaksari with friends, singing and dancing were some of the best experiences.

‌It was not just leisure time for me but even for mom and the aunts. All the neighbourhood aunts used to sit together in the verandah of my house, discussing about the TV shows, shopping, sales and discounts, cookery shows and so on.

‌Life was simpler back then. Miss the 90’s era. The best part was when dad used to come home either with ice creams and biscuits for all of us☺

Bangalore rains are always mesmerising. Namma Bengaluru is known for experiencing all three seasons in one day ☺

I always got my pocket money in the evenings where I saved it in my toy dumb box.

Like they say — Little drops of water make a mighty ocean.
