Now, that World DANCE day week is here — I would love to hint a dancer close to you pre-social distancing to connect & say a ‘Hello Dancer!’
- We walk to the beat. It doesn’t have to be a composed music, it can even be the rain!
- For all the exciting and non-exciting plans, our excuses remain the same — “Sorry, I have dance my class”.
- We want to hold a pose against every background rather than just pose!
- We prepare a choreography always in our heads.
- In case we dance at a party, we call it a impromptu even though it was a well-choreographed act! I ain’t sorry here 😛
- We crack out joins just like a normal thing and people freak out if they hear the noise. But it is so normal for us.
- Everytime I stand in a meeting or in pantry, I am always in the second position of ballet.
- I stretch under the table when I work, knowingly & unknowingly!
- I automatically point my toes during everyday activities.
- Dancers be like: “Okay, I’m comfortable…” in all positions to hold.

Have I missed any? Feel free to point out in the comment.
