Thank you for those tight hugs whenever I have an exam or an audition.

Thank you for holding my hand everytime we passed a street.

Thank you for pacifying me when I am sad, depressed or failed in my attempts.

Thank you for those arguments when made me realise that I miss your presence.

Thank you for accompanying me for the Comic-con to make it so memorable.

Thank you for those dinners which makes me recollect that we were once under the same sky.

Thank you for setting my name as your Nextflix password and sharing our To Do list.

Thank you for being so perfect that I cannot find a replacement ever.

Thank you for being protective and tracking all my live locations.

Thank you for those heartfelt apologies which made me feel guilty conscious.

Thank you for understanding me when I said — Am busy. But when I wanted to converse you said — Whenever I have a minute, you are the first thing on my mind.

Thank you for those Victoria’s secrets when I don’t intend to be your secret.

Thank you for making me giggle when I questioned — What’s on your mind? And the answer was ‘You’.

Thank you for letting me rest on your shoulders while watching the movies.

Thank you for those unlimited Coffee Day coffees and brunches.

Thank you for introducing me to good music and books at blossoms.

Thank you for sharing our bucket list and weirdest fantasies.

Thank you for being my dietician, hacker, nerd, advisor, rockstar, pacifier, gizmo freak, the investment banker, the comedian, the everything that you are.

Thank you for those endless phone calls when I was mad at you.

Thank you for bookmarking our old pictures on your browser.

Thank you for helping me realise my worth and know what I deserve.

Thank you for paving the way for me to know who I should be with, the kind of man I should look for, and what I want out of a relationship.

Thank you for teaching me that no matter how hard I try to change myself to please someone, they can still reject me.

Thank you for making me embrace my core and stop changing myself for a relationship that does not go the distance.

Thank you for reminding me that people can say we are so ‘perfect’ together, and then say ‘we saw it coming’ when it’s over. I learned not to listen to them anymore.

Thank you for making me realize how dangerous infatuation can be, we soon find ourselves doing things we never thought we would, so blinded by the very obvious facts, and clinging to strings of false hope.

It wasn’t easy getting over you, an attachment is a double-edged sword, but I learned that in relationships it’s better to break your own heart and save yourself from falling apart.

Thank you for making me aware of the lines we shouldn’t cross in relationships, and how blurry these lines can be when you’re in love.

Thank you for bringing me one step closer to ‘the one.’
