Designing products for the long run — on screens and on trails

Tasted both WFO & WFH, evidently

The wee hours of the morning by myself are such bliss. Morning affirmations, and prioritising the day’s goals, set the vibes for the entire day & keep one lively.

Like they say — Early to bed, early to rise, makes one healthy, wealthy, & wise.

Being a kind person who is easy to work with is a massively underrated career hack.

Drinking my first sip of water to break intermittent fasting throughout the night

The anxiety & stress of traffic, commuting, the pollution can be zeroed down due to remote work. The saved hours can be used to pursue your long-lost hobby, a side hustle, learn a new skill, or take up a course.

Do good work & disappear is my latest mantra.

Word to live by for a lifetime

Working with the most intelligent people is great. But what’s more important is working with people who respect your time when you are away from work. Sadly, not every smart person has humanity & kindness.

Remote work is the future. I hope it isn’t too late for organisations to realise it. Be it from pollution to lesser vehicles, consumption of fuel, lesser accidents, saved time & effort for both employer & employee, adds family & personal time, time to pursue hobbies, mental health, builds timely on trust first strategy. The extra hours go into working on myself. One can’t have a million-dollar goal with one dollar ethic.

It’s not that one is between the four walls with no human interaction. With tools like Gathertown, a virtual office where we walk, visit a colleague’s desk, and move to Amphitheatre, etc like in Mario work life is great.

Everyone has their favourite spots at home. We all decorate homes with what represents us, our values, & what we are closely connected to.

Every day in life you have a choice to choose between dreams & drama. Choose wisely.
